Welcome to the Cleveland Muny Football League

Mission Statement

The Cleveland Muny Football League was established to bring member organizations together to develop local football programs that teach the great sport of football. As a developmental organization our focus is directed toward the following goals: Teach the fundamentals of the game; Encourage teamwork and sportsmanship at all times; Learn the value of athletic competition and create a fun environment for all players. The success of our member organizations will not be measured by wins or loses, but on how they meet these goals.

About The Cleveland Muny Football League!

When you scroll down a High School Football Roster in the CMSD (Cleveland Metropolitan School District) or neighboring suburban public schools in Greater Cleveland, chances are that roster will contain many former players from the CMFL. In addition, players from the CMFL have gone on to play at some of the country’s most prestigious Private Schools such as St. Ignatius, St. Edwards, Benedictine, Cleveland Central Catholic, Holy Name and Villa Angela St. Joseph. Please be sure to view our Alumni Page (coming soon) for the CMFL.

As a football league we take great pride in seeing our young men continue onto High School, College and in some cases the NFL.   More importantly though is our heightened sense of responsibility in teaching children the values of hard work, dedication and the importance of education. The youth of today will soon be the leaders of tomorrow and all of us in the CMFL are proud to be a part of that mentoring process. Thank you again for visiting the Cleveland Muny Football League Website. We hope that you will take the time to come out and support the country’s premier youth football league.
