Please read the section below.  Any violation of these rules will result in either a warning, suspension, and/or termination from any affiliation with Cleveland Muny Football League with no refund of fees paid.  All violations will be discussed between Game Officials & Board Members.  If there are any questions, please e-mail us at info@cmfleague.org

This league and these games are for the benefit of the athletes-not the adult spectators or coaches.

* Only positive actions will be tolerated--absolutely no taunting, harassing, and foul language.  Negative actions, verbal or physical, towards any player, Official, parent, Coach, or Cleveland Muny Football League Board Member will not be tolerated.

* The Officials are in charge of the games.  Parents should not question or confront an Official or Coach during, before, or after the game.

* Spectators, players, or Coaches will not use alcohol, tobacco or drugs at games or practices.

* Any player that is caught playing in an age group that is not with in league rules and playing below the age division that they're supposed to be in will result in a hearing with league officials and if found guilty they will be immediatly suspended from the league (with NO refund). 

*Any coach that is thought to be playing an athlete that is older than the age division will be placed on immediate suspension until a hearing with league officials to determine the punishment-most likely they will be banished from having any connection with Cleveland Muny Football League.

Single Back Formation

To kick off our football playbook, let’s start with an easier football formation. The single back formation is built with one receiver on either side of the center and quarterback, and one a few yards behind the pair

Spread Formation

In the spread formation, all three receivers are essentially on the line of scrimmage—with one starting a couple yards behind—allowing for a slight delay in routes that will catch defenders off-guard. 

Pro-tip: While this image shows one recommended spread of the receivers, any of these football plays can be adapted to have receivers in different locations. And these flag football plays 5 on 5 can be altered for 7 on 7. Personalize the plays to make them your own!

Twins Formation

For the twins formation for 5 on 5 flag football plays, think of the non-quarterbacks as two pairs, or twins. These two sets of twins stand close to each other at the beginning of the formation and compliment each other.
